What the hell is a Bovalexia?!

BOVALEXIA-Thrilling audiences since 1996.The name, Bovalexia, came from the Home Box Office(HBO) show Not Necessarily The News and is the kind of word referred to as a "snigglet". By definition, the word bovalexia is the uncontrollable urge to MOO at cows in a field when passing by in , but not limited to, an automobile. Don't be surprised if you find yourself leaning out the window to have a stimulating conversation with someone's future meal.

Who are these guys anyway?!

Bart Allen Bell Drums, keeper of time, motivational speaker. Everyone loves Bart. If you don't know him you should. Bart also plays in the legendary Mongoloids and with his lovely wife, Stefanie, in their duo band Me and You.

Bob Davis Bass Guitar and rhythm keeper, oracle of groove, he has the skills to pay the bills. Also known reluctantly as R.L., Bob is also a sometimes member of The Adversives, Gordie Howe Trio Unit and Overlords of the Universe. Bob also enjoys tools and fixing big trucks and vans.

ToD Guitarded and Vox, songwriter. Gainfully employed. Contrary to popular belief, ToD does not enjoy getting back rubs and, or participating in really hot, kinky sex. (We're a Family band and we live up to the highest standards set by our hero and mentor, former President, William Jefferson Clinton.)

Why are they so cool?!

Bovalexia play a loud, upfront high energy live show with in your face heavy hittin' rock em' sock em' roll!!! We even have been known to have a following of Hula-Hoopers at some shows. In a red-necked valley festering with religious and social inequality....Swamped with yuppie extremism and herds of otherwise normal looking idiots,a group of young men, with nothing better to do than drink brake fluid,decided they had had enough of the insipid Whiner Rock (a.k.a. EMO... Blows!). Enough of the empty bantering of cover bands! ENOUGH! DAMN YOU ALL! ENOUGH! Thus formed Bovalexia, a three piece band from Boise, Idaho. Bovalexia play a high N-R-G blend of garage-pop-punk-art rock that goes for the throat.This style of music has been described by the band itself as being,"Speed Metal Mariachi "or"Chinese New Wave Butt Rock," possibly with a lemon twist.
